ONG LALANA - Stabilization of lavaka

The NGO LALANA was created in 1998 by a team of engineers and technicians eager to contribute to the development of the country through an innovative approach, and united around strong values: initiative, professionalism and creativity.

Lalana's objective is to establish a process of sustainable development in the rural world and in particular through road infrastructure and transport, and social accountability.

Fight against the silting of rice fields in the Lake Alaotra region:

Stabilization works of 6 large lavaka executed in 2 phases
Supervision of the local population for the execution of the works
Awareness raising and technology transfer so that the local population can carry out other small-scale protection work, and also to prevent the harmful actions that cause lavaka.
Creation of an association to monitor the actions
